Meet Jen Coello

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and a personalized approach. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.

With more than 12 years of experience supporting individuals and families, I've worked with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, and person-centered therapy to meet each client's unique needs.

In addition to being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This additional training provides me with a deeper understanding of behavior, learning, emotional regulation, and practical skill-building, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person's goals and strengths.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where healing, growth, and resilience can flourish.

My Philosophy

Every Story Matters

I believe therapy is about more than working through challenges—it's about helping people reconnect with themselves. My role isn't to tell you who to become. It's to help you discover the strengths, resilience, and confidence that already exist within you while providing practical tools to navigate life's challenges.

A Safe Place to Be Yourself

Healing begins when you feel genuinely heard. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you can show up exactly as you are while we work toward meaningful change together.

Evidence-Based. Human-Centered.

I combine evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered therapy to provide practical tools that create lasting growth.

Why I Became a Therapist

I chose this profession because I believe everyone deserves a place where they feel understood, supported, and never judged. Watching people discover their own resilience and create healthier, more fulfilling lives continues to inspire the work I do every day.
